Of Meteors and Moving

I am fortunate enough to live directly in front of a pretty big park.  It’s (usually) quiet and far enough away from the city that if you use a little imagination you’d never know you were next to one of the biggest cities in the world.  I’m going to take advantage of that fact this Thursday night (weather permitting, obviously).http://www.space.com/spacewatch/071207-ns-geminids.html

The best meteor shower of the year is on the 13th and 14th.  If you have an opportunity, do take advantage of it.

Let’s see.  What else is going on…  Oh!  I’m moving to a new apartment in April.  I’ll be moving in with an old college buddy who’s hanging around the city.  It should be quite a bit cheaper and a lot of fun.  Always nice to have a change of scenery every now and then.  But I must admit I’m really starting to get anxious for the phase in my life where I get somewhere and stay there for 30 years.

Well I hope you’re all doing well and ready for a wonderful holiday season.  Merry Christmas to my Christian brothers and sisters, Happy Hanukkah to my Jewish friends, and a Pleasant December to all you hell-bound atheists.  Enjoy the cold while you can.
