A Vague Farewell

 A rainy day.A rainy Monday.

A rainy Monday following a Holiday.  Yick.

My spirits, however, are not down all that much.  I had a great Thanksgiving (and certainly hope you all did as well) and it was wonderful to get out of the city for a while. And it’s also nice to be back because now I’m officially in the home stretch for, well, home.  Christmas trip to the Lone Star State is less than three weeks away.

I miss my niece.

I have been doing a lot of deep thinking lately.  This is usually the part where bad decisions are made and I turn my life 90 degrees and run like hell.  Not so this time.  This time God has gently been pressing on my heart (with a sledgehammer no less), to do some introspective thinking and rework some of my wiring.  Priorities, personality, behavior and other such things.  In these past few weeks wandering aimlessly in my own mind (try it sometime – but don’t forget the breadcrumbs), I have noticed a complete neglect of my private journal.  I do this web thingy occasionally and have yet to understand its purpose.  My private journal was where I wrote about the real deep down nitty gritty stuff and actually got some kind of closure or release in life.  An outlet as it were.  Such as it is.  So it would be.  Etc.

So I’m going to focus more on writing with a pen and less with a keyboard.  I haven’t been able to update lately because I literally can’t figure out what I want to say.  So I’m going to figure that out and then hopefully find something I can share with you.

Much love to all,

Oh, and I have beard now.  I didn’t like it at first, but it’s growing on me.  *hyuck hyuck hyuck*
